SHOW ME TELL ME

SHOW ME TELL ME QUESTIONS

Preparing for your practical driving test involves more than just learning how to drive safely on the road. As part of the UK driving test, learners are also required to answer the DVSA “Show Me, Tell Me” vehicle safety questions. These questions are designed to check your understanding of basic vehicle maintenance, safety checks, and car controls.
At Train 2 Pass Driving School, we make sure our students are fully prepared for every part of the practical driving test, including the Show Me, Tell Me questions. Understanding these questions can help build your confidence and improve your chances of passing your test successfully.

Q1: Tell me how you would check that the brakes are working before starting a journey.

Answer: Brakes should not feel spongy or slack. The vehicle should not pull to one side when the brakes are applied.
